Each bar is made from quality, warp-free, kiln-dried, unfinished basswood, featuring a 3/4" profile. The interlocked tongue-and-groove ends are perfect for tight assembly.
The rounded edge of the bar reduces any surface friction, allowing for a taut stretch when using both cotton and linen. This rounded edge also ensures that there will be no āghostā impression of the bar coming through the canvas.
Please note: Use of a rubber mallet may be needed when assembling the bars.
